How RIKAZ handles data: no advertising, optional Google Analytics that loads only with your consent, calculators that run in your browser, the verification tool's query, and standard hosting logs.

Summary

RIKAZ is a static website. It shows no advertising, does not build advertising profiles and does not sell data. On the live site it uses Google Analytics 4 for audience measurement, but only if you accept it (see below).

What happens when you visit

  • Hosting and CDN logs. Like any website, the servers and content-delivery network that deliver RIKAZ record technical request data, such as IP address, requested page, time, browser type and referring page. These logs are used to keep the site secure and working and to diagnose faults.
  • Calculators and the glossary search run in your browser. Values you enter in them are processed on your device and are not sent to RIKAZ.
  • The company verification tool sends what you type to RIKAZ. The company name or domain you enter is sent to RIKAZ’s own service to be matched against our company files and the official source lists. We do not store it, link it to you or pass it to anyone else. Our hosting provider may record the request in its technical logs, as described above.
  • No accounts. You do not need to register to read RIKAZ, and we do not ask for personal information to do so.
  • Fonts and assets are served from RIKAZ itself, not from third-party font services.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

On the live site, rikazinsights.com, RIKAZ uses Google Analytics 4, a service from Google, to measure how the site is used (for example which pages are visited, where visits come from, device and browser type, and approximate location) so we can improve our content. Analytics is not essential for the site to work.

  • It loads only after you consent. On your first visit a banner lets you choose “Accept analytics” or “Reject non-essential”. Until you choose, nothing is sent to Google.
  • You can reject it. If you do, the site works exactly the same.
  • If you accept, Google sets analytics cookies in your browser (their names start with _ga) and receives usage data. We do not turn on Google Signals, ad personalisation or remarketing.
  • You can change your mind at any time with the “Privacy preferences” link at the bottom of every page.
  • Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage on your own device, so we do not ask on every visit. It is not sent to anyone.

The data Google processes is governed by Google’s own policies. See the cookie policy for details of the cookies.

Cookies

RIKAZ sets no advertising cookies. Analytics cookies are set only if you accept analytics. See the cookie policy.

RIKAZ links to regulators, exchanges and companies. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Changes

If RIKAZ introduces a new feature that collects personal data, such as a mailing list, this page will describe it first, and where the law requires consent we will ask for it before anything is collected.
